The recycling system uses replacement of the exhausted toner material with fresh toner material. The toner reservoir is provided with emptying and refilling openings which are normally sealed by a hinged cover (4), as adhesive strip or removable bungs. Pref. the refilling opening has a card cover (4) attached to the outside of the toner container via an adhesive strip (6) acting as a hinge.
