A vehicle with brake temperature monitoring is disclosed, in which, when a threshold temperature is reached, a warning is issued and/or an ASR is switched off and/or the engine moment is reduced by acting on the engine. Temperature increases during braking and ASR, and temperature reductions during cooling phases are taken into account for the purpose of temperature determination.
