An arrangement for extracting liq. from a closed container whic h must be ventilated for extraction, uses a needle (3) which is pushed through the container wall. The needle is thickened or recessed in the region of the plane of the vessel wall so as to be specially geometrically different from the circular. At least one ventilation stud (4) protrudes from the cross-sectional area of the needle by about 10 per cent of the dia. of the needle. USE/ADVANTAGE - Primarily for use in analysis measurement applications. Simplified so that ventilation of vessel is achieved without additional operating steps or insertion devices.
