A video recorder has a magnetic head system that consists of the head module (3) fixed to the rotating drum (2). The tape passes across the outer surface along a partially helical path. The head has a main body with the underside formed in the shape of a dovetail (3a). This locates with clearance into a slot (2a) of similar profile. Threaded holes (10) allow set screws to be tightened from the underside to clamp the head in position. ADVANTAGE - Angular distance between rotating heads on upper drum of head wheel durably maintained without separate adjusters.
