The invention relates to a punched card device, especially for punched cards used in dispensaries by pharmacists to order the medications which they need from a provisioning centre. It is linked to a dispensary management system composed of a central unit (10), of a keyboard (12), of a monitor (11) and a modem (13). It is branched off, by a line (20), to the port of the central unit (10) which is normally connected to the keyboard (12) and, by a line (19), to the keyboard (12).
