<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a color filter suitable for a colored liquid crystal display at a low production cost by adding a colorless compound formed by coupling reaction of a specific precursor compound with an oxidized compound of a coloring developer to a color element. CONSTITUTION:In the aimed color filter using a silver halide light-sensitive material, one or more kind of substantially colorless compounds formed by coupling reaction of precursor expressed by the formula [R1 is alkyl; R2 is H or substituent group; Z is a non-metallic atomic group necessary for forming a nitrogen-containing hetero ring (having a substituent group)] with an oxidized compound of a coloring developer are added to at least one color element.</p> |
