PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition having improved water-absorption characteristics and dimensional stability without deteriorating the excellent heat resistance and mechanical properties of base resin by compounding a nylon 46 resin with a specific amount of a polyalkylene naphthalenedicarboxylate resin, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin composition can be produced by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt, of a nylon 46 resin with (B) 5-100 pts.wt. of a polyalkylene naphthalenedicarboxylate resin (e.g. polytetramethylene 2,6- naphthalenedicarboxylate or polyethylene 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylate) and (C) 2-20 pts.wt. of an olefinic copolymer containing a carboxylic acid (derivative) in the molecular chain and consisting of an ionic copolymer derived from an alpha-olefin and an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid metal salt. |
