PURPOSE:To obtain images which have high image quality and are environmentally stable by forming the color toner in the form of mixing coloring agent- contg. polyester resin particles contg. a specific salt making compd. and a flow improving agent having a specified electrostatic charge quantity. CONSTITUTION:The nonmagnetic coloring agent-contg. polyester resin particles of the insulating nonmagnetic color toner having the nonmagnetic coloring agent-contg. polyester resin particles and the flow improving agent have 4 to 10mum volume average grain size and the constituting components thereof contain a binder resin essentially consisting of a diol component and a dicarboxylic acid component and the salt making compd. expressed by formula I. The flow improving agent has <=20muC/g absolute value of the electrostatic charge quantity when this agent is frictionally electrified with an iron powder carrier. In the formula I, R1 denotes 1 to 8C alkyl group; R2 and R3 denote 1 to 18C alkyl group; R4 denotes 1 to 8C alkyl group, benzyl group. The nega tive chargeable polyester color toner for developing electrostatic charge images which is hardly effected by temp. and humidity environments and have a stable frictional electrification characteristic is obtd. in this way. |
