PURPOSE:To prevent theft or the like by providing a lock means locking the set state between a radio terminal equipment and a connection board and a lock control means controlling the lock of the lock means in response to an input of password information. CONSTITUTION:A key button 20 provided at a same location as that of a dial button switch 2 is depressed to select the mode and a password comprising a set of numerals is entered to generate a DTMF(Dial Tone Multi Frequency) signal tone, it is received by a microphone in a charger 7 and decoded. When the result of decoding represents a release signal unlocking a lock, a lock drive section 5 in the charger 7 is driven and a lock cam 4 is turned in the direction of the arrow Y and transits from the state fixed to a lock shaft 3 into a release state and a terminal equipment 1 is separated from the charger 7. Thus, theft of a portable radio terminal equipment is prevented.
