摘要 |
PURPOSE:To obtain a catalyst element having superior corrosion resistance by dipping a porous Al sheet with a protective film of lithium silicate on the surface in an aq. soln. of a catalyst-contg. inorg. binder and rapidly drying the sheet at a high temp. CONSTITUTION:A porous Al sheet with a protective film of lithium silicate on the surface is used as a catalyst carrier. This carrier is dipped in an aq. soln. of an inorg. binder contg. a catalyst for oxidation and decomposition of fats and oils, e.g. MnO2 or Fe2O3. The binder stuck to the carrier is then made porous by rapid heating at a high temp. and the catalyst for oxidation and decomposition of fats and oils is supported on the surface of the carrier. A catalyst element having superior corrosion resistance and fit for a self- cleanable electronic oven is obtd. without causing cracking. |
