PURPOSE:To obtain a sufficient frictional electrification quantity and images having excellent quality under a wide range of environmental conditions by incorporating hydroxynaphthoic acid compds. and hydroxyquinoline carboxylic acid compds. into the above toner. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind selected from the 2-hydroxy-1-naphthoic acid, 1-hydroxy-2-naphthoic acid, 3-hydroxy-2-naphthoic acid, 8-hydroxy-1-naphthoic acid, hydroxyquinoline carboxylic acid disposed with a hydroxy group and carboxy group in the adjacent positions on quinoline skeleton, the hydroxynaphthoic acids thereof, a compd. introduced with a substituent in the hydroxyquinoline carboxylic acid, and a compd. made double or triple by using a combination group, is incorporated into this toner. The stable frictional electrification quantity which is not affected by a change in the temp. and humidity is obtd. in this way and the stable images which are not affected by a change in the environmental conditions are reproduced. |
