<p>A sealing device (10) is described which has a first rigid screen (11) which can be fixed to an inner ring (3) of a rolling bearing (1) and is constructed by a sleeve (16) fitment portion from which a flange portion (18) projects radially, and a second screen (12) formed by a rigid reinforcement (13) fixed to the outer ring (2) of the bearing (1) and an elastomeric sealing element (14) with an essentially V-shaped radial section and including a first annular lip (24) in sliding contact with a sleeve portion (16) to form a fluid seal and a second annular lip (25) in sliding contact with the flange portion (18) to form a fluid seal; the first lip (24) projects obliquely from the reinforcement (13), starting from a first root portion (30) of the elastomeric element (14), and the second lip (25) projects axially from the first (24), parallel to the sleeve portion (16) and starting from a respective second root portion (32) located in correspondence with a sealing edge (26) of the first lip (24) and having a thickness (52) which is less than that (51) of the first root portion (30) so as to render the sealing action of the second lip (25) independent of that of the first (24). <IMAGE></p> |
