A LED exposure head for use in a recording apparatus for linewise recording information on a moving photoreceptor, which exposure head is mounted within a housing (15) composed of three extrusion-moulded elongate metal sections (29, 34, 35) and two injection-moulded end members, two sections (34, 35) being connected together in parallel relationship by means of the end members to constitute the cover (30) of the housing with an elongate slot-like opening (59) for the location of a lens array (60), the end members being arranged for fixing the cover to the base and also for co-operation with a mount on a wall of the apparatus for the adjustment of the correct position of the exposure head in the recording apparatus.
