PURPOSE:To rapidly measure a spatial distribution of radiation by providing a main body part of regular twenty-hedron or sixteen-hedron formed with a radiation shielding material and non-oriented radiation detecting elements arranged at each bottom of pyramidal recessed parts on the main body part. CONSTITUTION:The radiation detector 4 is constituted of the pyramidal recessed parts 6 such as a cone, etc., having a specific solid angle omega and the non-oriented radiation detecting elements 7 arranged in the recessed parts 6. When this radiation detector 4 and an arithmetic part are used, each size of 32 or 21 pieces of radiation vectors with specific direction respectively having different directions are calculated by this arithmetic part, and when the radiation detecting part, 4 pieces of the 1st arithmetic part 27 and 1 piece of 2nd arithmetic part 28 are used, each size of 84 pieces of radiation vectors with 2nd specific direction are calculated. Consequently, the spatial distribution of radiation can be rapidly measured with high direction accuracy.
