PURPOSE:To ignite and actuate each air bag securely for a first and a second air bag provided at different positions in a car chamber by providing constant current circuits for supplying a constant current to a first and a second squib for igniting and actuating them. CONSTITUTION:A backup capacitor 3 to which a power is supplied from a car battery 1 to be charged, squibs 5, 10 for igniting and actuating an air bag 5a for a driver's seat and an air bag 10a for a front passenger's seat, and an acceleration detecting switch 4 for detecting an acceleration at the time of an impact of a vehicle and controlling energization to the squibs 5, 10 are provided. Constant current circuits A, B are provided for the squibs 5, 10 respectively, so when the acceleration switch is put on by an impact of the vehicle, energization to each squib 5, 10 is started. The constant current circuit A, B consists of a current detecting resistance 8, 13, and transistors 6, 7 and 11, 12, and in the case a power is not supplied to it from the car battery 1, a power is supplied to the squibs 5, 10 from the backup capacitor 3. |
