ELECTRODE PLATE FOR X-RAY DETECTOR

PURPOSE:To increase the response speed of the output signal of an X-ray detector and to improve image quality as well as to prolong the life of equipment by providing insulating layer essentially consisting of polyimide on one surface of metal molybdenum and further, providing gold foil or nickel foil thereon. CONSTITUTION:Since this electrode plate is formed by using the polyimide as the insulating layer 4, the specific dielectric constant thereof is as excellent as <3.5 and the electrode plate has the less tendency to ionization than copper in spite of the presence of moisture as electrode foil. An electrochemical electrode reaction hardly arises and the migration essentially consisting of the polyimide is extremely less generated. Even if foreign matter intrudes in adhesive layers in the case of provision of the adhesive layers on both sides of the polyimide films 2, the insulation between a metallic molybdenum plate and the metallic foil is maintained and high dielectric strength is maintained. The response speed of the output signal of the X-ray detector is thus kept always high.
