PURPOSE:To provide a laminated material capable of increasing film thickness and excellent in wear resistance by carrying out coating with an alloy tool steel or a Co-base or Ni-base alloy material to which carbides, such as WC, are added by means of plasma spraying under specific conditions and then performing hot isostatic pressing treatment. CONSTITUTION:An alloy tool steel or a material composed essentially of Co-base or Ni-base alloy to which carbides, such as WC and VC, are added is thermally sprayed on a base material by a low-pressure plasma spraying method to carry out coating, and then hot isostatic pressing treatment is exerted. At this time, the thermal spraying is performed under the condition of reduced pressure atmosphere of >=2Torr partial pressure of oxygen and 20-300Torr total pressure. By regulating the upper limit of the partial pressure of oxygen to >=2Torr, the oxide itself causing film cracks can be decreased. The occurrence of the oxide inclusion can be minimized even if film thickness is increased, and as a result, the film thickness can be increased, and further, wear resistance can also be improved. |
