EXPOSING OPTICAL SYSTEM FOR IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To simplify construction by forming an exposing slit which regulates the range for exposing between the corresponding edges facing each other of respective main and auxiliary reflecting plates provided together with an illuminating lamp. CONSTITUTION:The exposing slit 71 for regulating the range of exposing is formed between the corresponding edges facing each other of the main and auxiliary reflecting plates 61, 62 provided together with the illuminating lamp 13. The respective main and auxiliary reflecting plates 61, 62 form the shapes having the focuses to condense the light of the illuminating lamp 13 to the scanning point on an original surface from both of the upstream side and downstream side in the scanning direction at the scanning point and are supported and fixed relatively with good accuracy. The required exposing slit 71 is, therefore, formed between the respectively corresponding edges thereof with the prescribed position accuracy. The construction and assembly are simplified in this way.
