PURPOSE:To obtain a deodorizing agent which can remove odor of methyl captan with a higher safety and efficiently by using alkyl benzaldehyde as effective component. CONSTITUTION:Alkyl benzaldehyde expressed by the formula (I) used for a deodorizing agent is o-,m-,p-tolualdehyde, o-,m-,p-ethyl benzaldehyde or o-,m-,p- isopropyl benzaldehyde. These aldehydes may be used in combination. The form of the deodorizing agent can be liquid, solid or the like optionally in use only if the alkyl benzaldehyde expressed by the formula (I) is contained as effective component. |
