PURPOSE:To easily control the sustained release speed of heparin by immobilizing heparin in a photo-crosslinked film of a water-soluble photo-crosslinkable resin. CONSTITUTION:Heparin is mixed with an aqueous solution of a water-soluble photo-crosslinkable resin to be formed into a film which is, in turn, irradiated with ultraviolet rays. As the water-soluble crosslinkable resin, a film forming material such as polyvinyl alcohol or polyethylene glycol having a photosensitive group such as a stilbazolium group or a diazo group as a photocrosslinkable group in its molecule is used and heparin is mixed with an aqueous solution containing about 10-30wt.% of the water-soluble photo-crosslinkable resin in a concn. of about 5-15wt.% and the resulting solution is applied to a substrate such as glass and dried at room temp. for about 1-3hr to be formed into a film. This film is irradiated with ultraviolet rays with a wavelength of 3000-4500Angstrom for about 1-60 sec to be photo-crosslinked and heparin is immobilized in the film. |
