PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for a door that includes a cover for preventing trapping of a finger in a gap between a door and a frame material for fitting the door, the safety device being available regardless of a projection amount of a door hinge or the number of hinges fitted, and without requiring a large cover.SOLUTION: A safety device for a door has a flexible cover 10 for covering a gap that expands/contracts as the door is opened/closed, between a door 3 and a frame material 2 on which the door is fitted with a hinge 4. The cover for covering the gap has a gap part cover 11 having a length sufficient for covering a portion where the gap is formed, and a hinge part cover 12 having a length fit for a projection amount of the hinge, for covering a portion where the hinge is fitted. Both edges of the gap part cover and the hinge part cover may be fitted separately on the portion where the gap is formed and the portion where the hinge is fitted, between the door and the frame material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
