PURPOSE:To suppress temperature rise of an amplifier by arranging a refrigerant flow path between a motor and the amplifier, in a unit where the amplifier for controlling the motor is mounted on the motor. CONSTITUTION:An amplifier 2 comprises a converter, a smoothing capacitor, an inverter, and the like. A tank 21 is fixed between the motor 1 and the amplifier 2. Pipes 22, 23 are coupled, respectively, to the tank 21 at the opposite ends thereof and water is enclosed, as refrigerant, in the tank 21 and the pipes 22, 23. In such arrangement, water 24 is fed through the pipe 22 into the tank 21 thence through the pipe 23 in the direction of an arrow B. The water 24 has high heat capacity and absorbs heat from the motor 1 thus suppressing transmission of heat to the amplifier 2. |
