Device for simulating on the ground the "signal-processing" part of a homing head equipping, for example, a missile. An optical system (1, 3, 37, 6, 10, 14) comprising two mirrors (6, 10) of adjustable angles of reflection makes it possible to reconstruct the image of the target. This image is applied to an analysis device (15, 1, 18) of much larger size than that of the homing head. The detected signal (10) is subsequently processed by the same electronic unit (21) as that of the homing head, and, at the output of the latter, signals (30 to 33) are added in order to simulate the movement of the target and the disturbances, before actuating the control (8, 12) of the angular position of the mirrors (6, 10). <IMAGE>
