PURPOSE:To reduce noise generated at cutting process, by forming a base plate adapted to have diamond tips arranged at the periphery thereof in such a way that an intermediate layer impregnated with a bonding agent and having a predetermined thickness is laid between two steel plates. CONSTITUTION:A base plate is an integrally incorporated press member consisting of two steel plates 1, 1 and an intermediate layer held therebetween and made of a bi-surface adhesive material 3 having such a core material impregnated with a bonding agent that is a woven fabric having 0.003 to 1.0mm. thickness, a perforated resilient plate, such as for example rubber plate or the combination thereof. Diamond tips 2 are secured to the periphery of the base plate so as to form a cutter. With this arrangement, since the core material is a material of effective noise absorption, remarkable noises reduction can be attained. |
