A housing (40) accommodates the two nozzles (2, 7; 3, 8) which are fitted on a carrier movable forwards and backwards by a drive. This drive incorporates a toothed fillet beneath the carrier, and which meshes with a pinion. A motor is provided, the output shaft of which passes through the centre of the pinion. The two nozzles form appropriate angles in relation to the centre line of a toilet seat (41), and spray water which they eject is aimed at that centre line. In the drive arrangement a feeler is incorporated which determined the standard position of the carrier. USE - For washing the anal and genital regions of the body.
