Chain has hinged front rim (5) of seat (3). Operating mechanism (6) alters front rim position w.r.t. seat. Chair chassis (1) includes back section (2) seat parts (3) and base frame (4). This has a central leg (12) and five support bars (13) stretching radially from centre leg (12). Front rim edge (5) hinges around hinge part (7) fixed to seating (3). Front rim edge position is altered by using operating knob (15), connected to drive spindle (8) and arm (9) of which one end is eccentrically fixed to spindle (8).
