摘要 When the engine is cold a condenser (5) contains air and some liq. coolant. There is a similarly partially flooded separator (8) in the vapour line (4) between the condenser (5) and engine cooling chambers (2, 3), which are also linked to the condenser (5) by a condensate line (13). A flexible expansion tank (17) takes displaced air. A heat exchanger (15) located on the condensate line (13) has a coolant supply. The level at which the vapour line (4) leaves the cooling chamber (2, 3) means that it also carries heated liq. coolant. The condenser (5) is bridged by a bypass line (9) which runs between the separator (8) outlet and the condensate line (13). USE/ADVANTAGE - Very efficient cooling of IC engine. No valves used.,
