Provided is a wifi connection method for a mobile terminal. A data list and position information about wifi hotspots are acquired from a mobile terminal, and the information is transmitted to a server; and then the server analyses the information and finds an available wifi hotspot, and enables the mobile terminal to be connected to wifi by means of the transmission of password information back to the mobile terminal. Compared with the prior art, the efficiency and the success rate of wifi connections can be greatly improved. Also provided is a wifi connection system. The method is realized in a mobile terminal by means of software, thereby facilitating a user in using same. |
