Disclosed is a message processing method. For example, the method may comprise: monitoring a message processing capability of a message receive end, and when the message processing capability is a first message processing capability, enabling message logic deduplication, or when the message processing capability is a second message processing capability, disabling message logic deduplication, the first message processing capability being lower than the second message processing capability; if the message receive end receives a message, determining whether message logic deduplication is enabled; and if not, performing a message processing procedure for the message. Because in the present application, switching is performed between message logic deduplication enabling and disabling according to the message processing capability, if message logic deduplication is disabled, the message receive end may directly perform the processing procedure for the message without performing logic deduplication on the message, thereby reducing occupation on computing resources and reducing a system risk.
