Heat accumulator mfr. process - with component protection during baking or evacuation of insulation area

The process is esp. for the mfr. of a latent heat accumulator for vehicle heating systems supplied by engine waste heat. It has a double casing (10), enclosing an insulation area; an accumulator core; and an inlet and outlet for the heat carrier, connected to a flow path. After mechanical fabrication of the casing, the insulation area is baked for degasifying, and evacuated. Baking takes place at a temp. above the operational temp. of the heat exchanger, and the components of the accumulator core are protected against temp. dependent damage.
