This displacement device is applicable to the pointing of an on-satellite antenna reflector. It comprises two rigid transmission arms each having one end articulated on the member and another end articulated on a carriage (22). Each carriage (22) carries a drum (36) which can rotate about an axis perpendicular to the said direction and is provided with drive means on which is wound an inextensible and flexible band which is stretched between two anchoring points aligned along the said direction and which cannot slip on the drum. <IMAGE>
