<p>The invention relates to an implement for dosing material, such as granular material, which implement comprises a hopper (2) for the material to be dosed, which hopper (2) includes a discharge aperture (10, 11) with associated closing member (12). Via an adjusting mechanism (14, 15, 17, 18, 20) it is possible to adjust the closing member (12). As a result, the discharge aperture (10, 11) is opened to a greater or lesser extent. The adjusting mechanism (14, 15, 17, 18, 20) comprises means for preventing that play therein would affect the setting of the size of the discharge aperture (10, 11).
