Production of a >=2-layered article (especially a wound covering) with foam and film layers involves extruding a material (2) on the main surface of a foam layer (A) and solidifying material (2) to give a film (B). An independent claim is also included for such an article in which an open-celled foam of pore size 0.02-0.2 mm is penetrated by material (2) to a depth of no more than 0.01 mm.
