摘要

An all-wheel drive for a motor vehicle has a first drive train (6) to the rear axle (5) starting from the gear box (3) and a second drive train (8) for the front axle (1) which branches off the first drive train. The second drive train can be switched on by means of a permanently acting all-wheel blocking system (10, 38, 43) in function of the difference in rotational speed between the propeller shaft (4) and the output shaft (13) of the all-wheel blocking system. A separating clutch (25) incorporated in the first drive train (6) behind the junction (7) of the second drive train can be actuated in function of characteristic parameters of the motor vehicle.
