Coupling device, and mounting system Coupling device for coupling an electronic label arranged for mounting on an elongated mounting rail, comprising an electronic display on a front side thereof and the coupling device on a rear side thereof. The coupling device has a physical coupler for physically coupling the electronic label onto a mounting rail. The coupling device further comprises a latch provided with a plurality of electrical contacts for electrical contacting with electrical conductor lanes of the mounting rail, said lanes extending along the longitudinal direction of the mounting rail. Said latch further is provided with a first catch. Furthermore, the latch is adjustable between a locking position, in which said first catch lockingly engages the mounting rail and prevents movement of the electronic label along the mounting rail and in which the electrical contacts are electrical contacting the electrical conductor lanes of the mounting rail, and a free position in which the catch is disengaged from the mounting rail and in which the electrical contacts leave the electrical conductor lanes clear.
