Method for the continuous manufacture of a covered aluminium wire by means of the unrolling of a wire of core a and of two aluminium covering wires b and b' from corresponding supply reels 1, 2 and 2'; with straightening and cleaning of said wires during the unrolling stage, extruding the wires via an extrusion chamber 7 in order to apply the covering cables b, b' onto the surface of the wire of core a, said covering wires being passed, prior to the extrusion stage, via a rotary wheel and a narrow channel arranged inside the extrusion chamber 7 in which they are softened by means of the friction heat generated between the covering wires and rotary wheel, cooling the extruded wire ab; and rolling up the covered wire ab onto a collection spool 10. <IMAGE>
