Installation composed of two parallel floats of large size, with an intermediate paddle wheel. The floats are joined by means of end structures. The paddle wheel is mounted with the ability to rotate between the floats, having planar blades of a length, in the radial direction, greater than the distance between the axle of said paddle wheel and the water line of the assembly. The floats house transmission mechanisms and an electric alternator. The installation is intended for mounting in large masses of water, the floats having means for anchoring to the bottom of the said mass of water. <IMAGE>
