Pyrrolopyridazine compound of formula (I), wherein R<1> and R<2> are each lower alkyl, cyclo(lower)alkyl, cyclo(lower)alkyl-(lower)alkyl, aryl or substituted aryl, R<3> and R<4> are each hydrogen, lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, lower alkylthio, halogen, aryl, substituted aryl, arylthio, substituted arylthio, ar(lower)alkyl, carboxy, protected carboxy, acyl or N-containing heterocyclic group which may have suitable substituent(s), Y is vinylene or ethylene, and Z is a group of formula (a) or (b), wherein R<5> is carboxy or protected carboxy, and R<8> is hydrogen or hydroxy-protective group, or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, which is useful as a HMG-CoA Reductase inhibitor. |
