The cable fixing device comprises two cooperating clamp halves (1) with a cable reception groove (3) on one side and a perpendicular slot (2) on the opposite side. The 2 clamp halves (1) are coupled together via fixing screws (5), around the outside of the cable and the assembled clamp block is fitted into a holder (15) by insertion in a direction extending along the 2 perpendicular slots (2). At least one spring element (4) is fitted in each clamp . half (1) to project beyond the latter, to provide a spring clamping effect after fitting in the holder (15). ADVANTAGE - Provides mechanical and electrical coupling between cable holder and wall.
