The flap (2) has a support edge (5) for supporting a sealing joint (6) for inhibiting movement of gas between the support edge and a wall of a gas flow pipe. A deflector (9) diverts a flow of gas from a contact zone between the support edge and the joint to guarantee a sealing between the support edge and the joint, where the flap is made of plastic material. The joint is made of elastomer i.e. fluorosilicone. The deflector forms a screen for the gas flow, and is formed by inclined sections (9', 9'') that are extended along the support edge from an inner side of the joint. |
