The subject invention concerns a device for handling, e.g. for fetching, lifting, raising, transporting, etcetera, essentially panel-shaped objects individually or in bundles (27), with the aid of a lifting and/or working table (1) in the form of a platform (10-14) and a back (15 to 22) extending essentially at right angles thereto, which are movably arranged in a stand (2) comprising a column (3), along which the lifting and/or working table (1) may be shifted from a floor level to a higher level, and base (4 to 7) supported on rollers and/or wheels, over which the lifting and/or working table (1) may be displaced while raising or pivoting the platform (10 to 14) proper into an upright vertical position and lowering the back (15 to 22) to a horizontal position. |
