Provided are an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, a liquid crystal film, a display panel and a preparation method therefor. The ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer is characterized in that the mass percentage of vinyl acetate monomer units is 20%-35%; and the number average molecular weight of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer is 10000-100000. The ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer provided in the present invention has a network-structure framework and a lamellar morphology, and can anchor the liquid crystal molecules in the openings of the network structure, thereby inducing the liquid crystal molecules to be arranged and oriented in the arrangement mode of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer; such that the instant read-in and output of displayed information can be achieved; especially the real-time orientation of the liquid crystal molecules can be achieved in a bent state; thus the instant read-in and output of displayed information can be achieved.
