PURPOSE:To facilitate residual abnormality processing when the power source is turned on again after abnormality occurrence by making an abnormality display for a specific time and then turning off the power source when the power source is turned on again without resetting an abnormality processing means. CONSTITUTION:The main CPU51 of a controller 50 sets copy operation conditions and detects abnormality, and a sub-CPU52 performs operation control to interchange information through a bus line 53. Jam detection is performed by detecting whether or not there is paper conveyed in response to each timer signal set by the CPU, faulty process detection is performed by pulse generation state after a prescribed period of time after the process starting, and when abnormality of some part is detected, that is displayed on a service counter and each power source is turned off a specific time later. If the power source is turned on without resetting the counter forgetfully after abnormality removal or if the power source is turned on without abnormality processing, the controller 50 makes an abnormality display again and turns off the power source. Therefore, the residual abnormality processing when the power source is turned on again after abnormality occurrence is facilitated. |
