<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently remove the SS and BOD of org. sewage by connecting the outflow part of a flow rate averaging tank to the sedimentation separation part of a treatment tank and connecting the cleaned waste water outflow part of the treatment tank to the sedimentation separation part. CONSTITUTION:Org. sewage containing SS and soluble BOD is allowed to flow in a flow rate averaging tank 1 to average the timewise changing flow rate of sewage. The sewage receives aeration by an aerator during the period when the timewise change of the flow rate of sewage is averaged and a part of the soluble BOD in the waste water is removed by propagating bacteria. Next, the sewage is supplied to the sedimentation separation part 14 in a treatment tank 11 to settle and separate the SS in the sewage and the activated sludge SS propagated in the flow rate averaging tank 1. The liquid from which the greater part of SS is settled and removed flows in an immersion filter bed 12 as an ascending current and non-settled fine SS is filtered and removed and dissolved BOD is effectively removed.</p> |
