PURPOSE:To form a release layer at extremely low temp. by forming the release layer from an urethane containing crosslinkable silicone. CONSTITUTION:A transfer foil 1 is formed by providing a transfer layer 8 formed by laminating a release layer 5, a decorative layer 6 and an adhesive layer 7 in this order on a releasable base material 4 consisting of a base film 2 and the release layer 3 of a urethane resin containing crosslinkable silicone provided to the surface of the base film 2. The release layer 3 remains on the side of the base material 4 even after transfer to facilitate the release from the transfer layer 8. The crosslinkable silicone used in the release layer 3 has a straight chain molecular structure and also has active hydrogen in its molecule and reacts with the isocyanate component constituting the urethane resin in the same release layer. The crosslinkable silicone crosslinked with the urethane resin takes a three-dimensional reticulated structure in the release layer and, therefore, there is no possibility such that releasability lowers by the transfer to the transfer layer and adhesiveness is obstructed. The release layer 3 can be sufficiently cured even at temp. as low as 40-100 deg.C. When the release layer is formed to the base film having low softening temp., the base film receives no effect of heat at the time of the formation of the release layer and a pattern can be accurately transferred. |
