<p>PURPOSE:To improve a reproduced picture by allowing a picture decoding section to read simultaneously a compressed code data from a CD-ROM and storing the data to a decoding circuit of a picture decoding section when the stored code quantity of each system buffer exceeds a prescribed threshold level and sending the data. CONSTITUTION:When buffer memory controllers 13, 23, 33, 43 receive a reproduction start signal, a video compression code from buffer memories 14, 24, 34, 44 is sent to decoding circuits 15,25, 35, 45 with synchronization in the unit of frames under the control of the buffer memory controllers 13, 23, 33, 43 and the video signal data is decoded. A display section 2 writes a video signal data of each system of the picture decoding section 1 to a prescribed division of a frame memory 103 under the control of a frame memory controller 104 and the signal read from the frame memory 103 is converted into an NTSC signal by an NTSC encoder 105 and displayed on a monitor 106. The frame synchronization of each system is taken by using the reproduction start signal from a timing generating circuit 102 to output a signal from the buffer memories 14, 24, 34, 44.</p> |
