PURPOSE:To improve the plate wear of silver image parts without degrading staining by making the above plate in the presence of a polyamide resin. CONSTITUTION:The plate making processing is executed in the presence of the reaction product of polyamide and epichlorhidrin. This polyamide is obtd. by bringing dibasic carboxylic acid and polyalkylene amine into reaction. The more particularly preferably polyamide is a block copolymer amide obtd. by bringing the polyamide and lactams into reaction. The planographic printing plate which allow the good deposition of ink, is free from staining and has the improved plate wear is obtd. in this way.
