PURPOSE:To immediately and reliably reset specification data even when a memory is exchanged due to the occurrence of failure in operation by mounting a code piece into which specification data of a control panel is coded, reading the contents of the code piece by means of a code reader connected to a portable external device, and resetting in a control circuit. CONSTITUTION:When an external device 3 is connected to a control circuit 2 by a servicing worker, it is decided whether there is a rewriting command for specification data. When the servicing worker inputs the rewriting command for specification data by means of the external device 3, specification data obtained by reading a bar code on a bar code paper 5 by a bar code reader 6 is inputted to a control circuit 2, and data of given E<2>PROM 12 is rewritten. An elevator control program is executed by means of rewritten new specification data. When it is decided that a rewriting command is absent, a normal maintaining program is executed. When it is decided that the external device 3 is not connected, only the elevator control program is executed. |
