PURPOSE:To cope with diverse optical cable structures and length by inserting an optical fiber unit by using pressure fluid and then sending and laying it as a laying place. CONSTITUTION:The optical fiber unit is constituted by coating optical fibers 21 with an internal sheath 22 and an external sheath 23. Further, an assembled pipe cable is formed by sheathing the conduit line 11 of a PF tube with a cream- colored PVC sheath 12. When a section where the cable needs to further be laid is specified, a necessary optical fiber unit 1 and necessary length are determine according to the kind and of the fiber and a proper pipe cable is selected according to the determined optical fiber unit 1 to prepare a necessary-length pipe cable by an easy method such as cutting, fusion splicing, and connector connection matching the necessary length. Then the fiber unit 1 is inserted into the pipe cable by using the pressure fluid and conveyed and laid at the laying place. Consequently, various kinds and cores of optical fibers can be handled. |
