PURPOSE:To degauss a degaussed object effectively by providing a annular degaussing coil and a degaussing signal generating circuit to generate a degauss signal to the device. CONSTITUTION:A degaussing magnetic field is generated by always supplying a degaussing signal to a degaussing coil 1 arranged to an optional position of a television receiver production line. A television receiver 11 being carried on a conveyor 13 of the production line receives stronger effect of the degaussing magnetic field generated from the degaussing coil 1 as the television receiver 11 approaches the degaussing coil 1. When the television receiver 11 comes to the center of the degaussing magnetic field, the television receiver 11 receives the maximum degaussing magnetic field and undesired residual magnetism of the television receiver 11 is naturally degaussed on the way of the conveyor 13 of the television receiver production line unidirectionally. |
